Tyne and the Fastlyne are not at all concerned about being traditional. Featuring Tyne’s progressive style of banjo backed by upright bass, drums, mandolin and guitar, Tyne and the Fastlyne bring you four bands in one: a bluegrass band; a progressive new-grass band; a country and blues band; and a roots rock band all tempered by the same taste, experience and style.

Lead vocalist and banjo player Tyne Palazzi has over twenty years experience playing banjo, starting when she was six. The other members of the Fastlyne have over thirty years playing experience each. When The Fastlynes’ love of pop songs, roots rhythms and rock attitude meets Tyne’s love of Celtic melodies, old time harmonies, and bluegrass instrumentation, a unique blend of music is created.
