Performances are a highlight of the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts—it’s hard to top enjoying a show (and maybe a Creamery ice cream cone) from the comfort of a blanket spread on the Old Main lawn on a warm July night.
This summer, we’ll be offering a traditional mix of old favorites and new performers on both outdoor and indoor stages. In addition to Festival Shell on the Old Main lawn, we’ll have performers on the Allen Street Stage, and on the Sidney Friedman Park Stage, in addition to smaller acts on outdoor plazas. If you prefer the comfort of an indoor show, you won’t want to miss the performances at The State Theatre and the State College Presbyterian Church. Admission for most shows will be by a Festival wristband, available at the door or at select locations in the Centre Region in the month of June.
While you wait for the Festival to roll around, be sure to check out our YouTube Channel featuring some past shows and instructional videos.
Performances are a highlight of the Festival. You can see both touring and local performers – everything from jazz to bluegrass, folk to rock, concert bands to choral groups, not to mention musical theatre, dance, and comedy.
We’re sure you’ll find a performance you’ll enjoy at the Arts Festival!
