Performances are a highlight of the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts and First Night State College. This summer, we’ll be offering a traditional mix of old favorites and new performers. You can check them out in person, as live streamed events, and on demand as well. In addition to musicians, we’ll have some fun instructional videos, from cooking summer favorites to mixing craft cocktails. Our live musical performances will be streamed on Facebook Live and YouTube Live, while our on demand offerings will be on YouTube. Some of those will be live on the Festival’s YouTube channel while others will be links to performances that we particularly enjoy.
We know seeing a performance on a screen will never be the same as being there in person. That is why we are especially happy to welcome limited audiences to our live performances in the State College Presbyterian Church, 132 West Beaver Avenue, State College. Audiences will be limited to 250 people. Instead of the traditional Festival button, we’ll be selling wristbands at the door for $10. The wristband will be good for all three days, but they won’t guarantee a seat–it’s possible for shows to sell out.
We’re looking forward to the days when we’ll have five days of shows at three outdoor stages and a couple of indoor venues as well. In the meantime enjoy our in person and online performances this year.
