Craft Beverage Expo presented by the Central Pennsylvania Tasting Trail

Centre County’s bountiful supply of fruits, grains, and spring water has made the area popular with vintners, brewers, cider makers and distillers. Today’s consumers don’t want to just buy a product, they want to see how and where it’s made. Local craft beverage producers founded the Central Pennsylvania Tasting Trail in 2015 to meet this need while promoting their products and encouraging agritourism.

Members of the Tasting Trail have been at the Festival since 2018 selling trail passports. This year we are delighted to welcome them back again to provide our audience with the chance to sample and purchase the beers, wines, ciders, and spirits made right here in Centre County!

The Tasting Trail will be operating a craft beverage expo, with light entertainment, in the Martin Luther King Plaza on Friday, July 12 & Saturday, July 13, from noon until 8:00 p.m.  After a cover charge of $10, patrons over the age of 21, with proper ID, will be able to sample and purchase drinks by the glass to enjoy in the MLK Plaza. Patrons will also be able to purchase bottled beverages to go.

Please note that the Borough of State College prohibits open containers of alcohol in public areas of the Borough.
