Festival Parking, Bus Service and Map
Penn State Campus: We encourage visitors to use Penn State’s West Parking Deck on White Course Drive near the IST Building and use free bus service to get to and from the event. Parking is $2 for the first hour, $3 for under two hours and $10 for between two and ten hours, cash and credit cards accepted. Free bus service will be available from the West Parking Deck to the center of the Festival, at the corner of College Avenue and Allen Street, with an additional stop at the Palmer Museum of Art during the following times:
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Patrons may walk from the West Parking Deck to the Festival zone. It is approximately ½ mile, a ten-minute walk.
Downtown State College: There are municipal parking garages on Beaver Avenue, Fraser Street, McAlister Street, and Pugh Street. During the Festival, the hourly rate is $3 per hour or any portion thereof, with a maximum daily rate of $50.
Jordan East Parking Lot: An additional parking option for this year, the Jordan East parking lot near the Bryce Jordan Center will offer parking by kiosk and will be $1 per hour. This lot will be on our Arts Festival and People’s Choice Festival shuttle loop!
Arts Festival and People’s Choice Shuttle Loop
With the return of the People’s Choice Festival to Boalsburg, we are thrilled to offer a shuttle loop between the two Festivals this year!
The shuttle will make three stops. The Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts shuttle stop will be on the corner of Beaver Avenue and Pugh Street. The People’s Choice shuttle stop will be on the south side of People’s Choice Festival grounds off Boalsburg Pike. The third shuttle stop will be at the Jordan East parking lot near the Bryce Jordan Center on Penn State’s University Park campus.
The shuttle is expected to run on a continuous loop Thursday through Saturday, July 9 – 11, beginning at 10 am, with the final run to be determined. Shuttle times will be posted at each shuttle stop location.
