The Adam Hallacher Septet is an all-star group of young jazz musicians from State College and Reading PA featuring Adam Hallacher (trumpet), Stephen Liu (alto saxophone), Noah Gibney (piano), Elijah Snyder (bass), and 2 drummers: Huck Tritsch and Austin Snavely. Their repertoire selection spans across several sub-genres of jazz including Cuban, Brazilian, New Orleans, Funk, and Swing styles, and they take influence from groups such as the Miles Davis Quintet, Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, and Irakere. All of the members are currently studying jazz at prestigious music programs such as Eastman, UNT, Frost, and Temple University.
