The Packard Highland Dancers and Nittany Highlanders will be performing culturally significant music and dances such as the Highland Fling\, Sword Dance\, and several others.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWest African Drum Rhythms\n11:00 a.m. \nJoin Dan Trevino and a group of passionate local drummers for an immersive African drumming experience. \nAllegheny Ukulele Kollective\nNoon\nThe ukulele is commonly associated with music from Hawaii\, though it has enjoyed waves of popularity in other parts of America.  Founded in 2010\, the Allegheny Ukulele Kollective is a ukulele enthusiast-slash-evangelist club based in Altoona and State College. Over the years\, people of all ages and abilities have jammed together on college campuses\, in cafes\, and at the local YMCA. The group meets nearly every Sunday for a jam and welcomes newcomers\, especially beginning players. \nBlack Cat Belly Dance \n1:00 p.m.\nShannon Bishop is a professional Egyptian-style dancer based in State College\, PA and the Artistic Director of Black Cat Belly Dance\, central Pennsylvania’s only dance school devoted to Egyptian dance. Since 2006 she has been the region’s only instructor of Egyptian Raqs Sharqi (belly dance) as well as Raqs Baladi and the folkloric dances of Egypt and the Middle East\, including Saidi\, Fellahi\, Khaleegy\, Melaya Leff\, Ghawazee\, Nubian\, Shaabi\, Simsimayya and more.   \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
