After graduation\, Chip moved to the State College area for work in graphic design and advertising in 1981. He started drawing caricatures locally the next year. \nIn 45 years since then he has enjoyed drawing hundreds of thousands of smiling faces! Along with arts festivals throughout the state\, Chip has entertained people of all ages with his caricature skills at parties\, proms\, weddings\, company picnics\, countless Penn State events\, and on cruise ships. \nHis black-and-white style is fast and funny\, always aiming to capture the charm of someone’s personality in their likenesses. We believe that exposing a diverse group of kids to real world engineering challenges at an early age is critical in developing our next generation of innovators and leaders. \nWe compete in three divisions of FIRST Robotics Global Competitions: FIRST Lego League (FLL) – elementary school students\, FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) – middle school students\, and FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) – high school students. We have 7 FLL teams\, 6 FTC teams\, and 1 FRC team. In 2018\, our FRC won the FIRST global competition\, proudly bringing home a World Championship banner to our base of operations in State College\, PA.
