SUMMARY:Caledonia
DESCRIPTION:Caledonia is a musical group duo from Lemont\, Pennsylvania founded by William Ryan (guitar/vocal) and Daniel Collins (fiddle\, vocal). They formed during the covid pandemic when Ryan began recording some original materials at Collins’ Earwicker studios and the two found an instant musical chemistry. Their sound is centered around Ryan’s vocals and Collins’ fiddle\, weaving together elements of country\, bluegrass\, folk\, and Irish music into what they call “country-eastern”. The name Caledonia is a reference to the Caledonia Pike\, which begins outside of Philipsburg and ends in the Moshannon State Forest of Clearfield County; Ryan’s birthplace and home to a family cabin from which he draws inspiration for many of his lyrics. They are currently working on their debut album of original material and playing shows throughout the region.    \nThis performance is sponsored by Mortgage Source. \n
