DESCRIPTION:The Nittany Dreamers Baton & Silk Corps was founded in 1992 by John Mitchell\, the feature twirler of Penn State’s Blue Band. It teaches the sport of baton and silks to children from all over Centre County. The group performs at parades and events throughout Centre County including homecoming parades for State College Area High School and Penn State.

SUMMARY:Happy Valley Improv
DESCRIPTION:The Happy Valley Improv youth program will perform 45-minutes of improv comedy. The program consists of 5th – 12th graders who have been working together in both an after-school program and summer camps. Happy Valley Improv is proud to have these students in our community. \nHappy Valley Improv is State College’s premier longform improv company\, bringing the art of improvisation to Centre County through performances\, classes\, workshops\, and community outreach. Started by four improvisers in the basement of a church in early 2017\, the group now consists of seventeen company members performing a variety of improv styles and forms at their new home in Calder Way\, The Blue Brick Theatre.

DESCRIPTION:From beautiful murals that span entire blocks to small bronze pigs\, see all the art that helps to make downtown State College a vibrant place. Take an ‘art walk’ to admire the countless sculptures\, memorials\, and vibrant murals that help make State College such a special place. With inspiration of all shapes and colors around every every corner\, downtown State College is an outdoor museum with no ticket required! \nYou’ll learn more about the sculptures\, memorials\, and vibrant murals that casual passersby take for granted. Each piece tells an important story thanks to the talented artists who have shared their expressions of admiration for the people and places who have shaped our region. What new new pieces of art you can find this year? \nThe walk starts at 3 Dots\, 137 East Beaver Avenue\, State College and is approximately 1.5 miles long. \nThe tour will also be given on Sunday\,  July 10 at 1:00 p.m. and at 3:00 p.m.
