SUMMARY:Performance by JT and the Denicats
DESCRIPTION:Throughout the year\, JT Thompson stays busy playing piano bars\, special events\, and with several popular bands. He also gathers members of these bands to record his own compositions and then to perform them in Central Pennsylvania. Sometimes it’s a trip\, other times it’s a 13-piece group\, in any arrangement\, JT’s music is always captivating. \nThe core of the Denicats is made up of three well known musicians: multi-instrumentalist Doug McMinn\, bassist Bill Stetz\, and drummer Stubby Stubbs. Working with JT\, each has a knack for engaging the audience while supporting the song and each other. \nTo access this live event on Facebook Live\, . SUMMARY:Performance by The River Drivers
DESCRIPTION:Philadelphia-based Celtic-tinged folk rock collective River Drivers is a four-piece band whose unique passion-infused style of music draws from Celtic\, Americana\, and Appalachian influences and features powerful and distinctive vocals. Its repertoire strikes a fine balance of original songs and more obscure folk songs\, resurrected from deep folk vaults. \nAnchored by Kevin McCloskey (vocals\, guitar\, mandolin\, banjo\, bass) and Mindy Murray (vocals\, guitar\, banjo\, bass) with accompaniment by Marian Moran (tin whistle\, low whistle\, concertina\, melodica) and Meagan Ratini (fiddle\, Irish flute\, tin whistle)\, their high energy music explores pervasive themes of hard-working people and social justice. \nTo access this live event on Facebook Live\, .
