Miss Melanie and the Valley Rats have appeared with B.B. King, Jay Leno, Johnny Winter, James Cotton, and a host of others in the seven years of being together.
Miss Melanie can flat out sing. Full stop. End of story.
Melanie’s giant voice, with tons of range and soul, is the centerpiece of the band; her inimitable voice and earned her a loyal fan base. When combined with Queen Bee and the Blue Hornet Band alum Mark Ross on guitar, Stone Poets veteran Rev. James Harton on organ, and Chris Coyne on drums, it makes for one groovin’ soul and roots band.
