The Palmer Museum of Art joins other educational and civic organizations from the Central Pennsylvania region in providing creative activities for young art lovers on Old Main lawn.

The Art of Science is a tradition that you won’t want to miss! Kids of all ages are invited to bring their curiosity to Old Main lawn and join Penn State scientists and engineers who have prepared a fun array of hands-on activities such as colorful lava lamps, mysterious phase changing goop, paint made from lights, and – of course… liquid nitrogen ice cream! Student and faculty researchers, as well as high school students from the Upward Bound Program, are excited to share their creativity and passion for science with you.

Sponsored by the Center for Nanoscale Science, a National Science Foundation funded Materials Research Science & Engineering Center Program.
