Images, a juried mid-Atlantic regional exhibition for fine art and fine craft, was established by the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts in 1989 as a complement to its nationally recognized outdoor Sidewalk Sale and Exhibition. Images has evolved into a well-respected exhibition for both emerging and established artists.

The exhibition will be in the Robeson Gallery in the HUB-Robeson Center on the University Park campus of The Pennsylvania State University.

JUROR
Joyce Robinson is a curator at the Palmer Museum of Art at Penn State, where she is also an affiliate associate professor of art history.

Joyce Robinson, never a fan of standard head shots,
opted for a Warhol-esque portrait.
Robinson received her doctoral degree in 19th and 20th century European and American art at the University of Virginia, and has taught at Kenyon College, Davidson College, the American University in Paris, and the University of Virginia.

During her tenure at the Palmer, Joyce has organized more than twenty exhibitions, several of which traveled to other institutions, and authored exhibition catalogues primarily in the fields of contemporary art, photography, and American art. She has also served as in-house curator for numerous major traveling exhibitions on topics ranging from Indian miniature painting and Chinese tomb sculpture to archaeology and forgery, ancient Iranian ceramics, and African art.

Joyce is active in the community and has served on a wide variety of boards and committees. She is currently the vice-president of the Board of the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts and is leading the Festival’s 50th anniversary steering committee.
