Donate to the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts during Centre Gives!
May 9 – 10, 2017
Centre Gives is a 36-hour online-only giving event that will take place from 8 am on Tuesday, May 9 through 8 pm on Wednesday, May 10 in Centre County, Pennsylvania. Sponsored by the Centre Foundation, Centre Gives provides an opportunity for folks to support the Arts Festival (and many other worthy organizations) with just a few clicks on their computer or taps on their mobile device. Not only is it convenient – and tax-deductible – but donors get more bang for their buck. The Centre Foundation matches gifts made during Centre Gives on a pro rata basis with a $100,000 stretch pool and other cash prizes.
Plus, this year the Hamer Foundation has generously matched the Centre Foundation’s stretch pool for a total of $200,000, which will leverage your donation more than ever before!
Your gift to the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts showcases cutting-edge visual and performing arts right here in State College each July, giving many of our friends and neighbors opportunities to experience the arts and interact with talented artists in new and inspiring ways. Gifts given through Centre Gives will be used to produce the 2017 Arts Festival’s extensive performing arts program, as well as our highly-ranked Sidewalk Sale and Exhibition showcasing some of the country’s most talented visual artists.
Your gift also produces First Night State College, our family-friendly alcohol-free celebration of all that is possible in the New Year.
If you’re really into the Centre Gives spirit, please mark your calendar and set your alarm to help us win a special $500 prize. We would like as many people as possible to give to the Arts Festival during the “High Noon Prize” power hour on Tuesday, May 9 between noon and 1 pm. If we end up with the most donors during that hour, we win the prize!
A heartfelt thank you to the 160 donors who gave a gift to the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts during the 2016 Centre Gives event. The Arts Festival received more than $30,000 in donations through Centre Gives, plus we were awarded an extra $1,000 during one of the special prize hours!
Through the 2016 Centre Gives event, our generous Centre County community made a total investment of over $1,000,000 into the local non-profit network.
You bring the Arts Festival to life!
