Giving Back in a Big Way
It’s a fact: The Arts Festival relies on the hundreds of volunteers that make it possible to produce “Happy Valley’s annual miracle.”
Those volunteers come in all shapes and sizes – from the Boy Scout Troops who are part of the Trash Crew to the individuals who help out in the Festival office each year.
In fact, there are some groups that are part of Arts Festival history. For example, members of the State College American Association of University Women have staffed the Information booth located at College Avenue/Allen Street since the Festival’s infancy.
Other organizations that regularly participate are Rotary, State College Women’s Club, Jewish Community Center, State College Area Education Association and employees of First National Bank, Northwest Savings Bank, and Penn State Federal Credit Union.
These organizations, along with countless individual volunteers, truly make Arts Fest the pride of the community.
